Sudipa is pursuing her PhD in an Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral (EJMD) program of European Doctorate in Industrial Management (EDIM) since September 2012. She is a PhD candidate both in KTH, Sweden and POLIMI, Italy and is expected to receive a joint doctoral degree from both universities in September 2016.
Sudipa did her Masters in Industrial and Systems Engineering from National University of Singapore (2008) and Bachelors in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2005).
She has 6 years of academic and professional experience. Currently she is on study leave from her academic career in Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology where she works as an assistant professor.
She has experience working in Singapore as an Industrial Engineering Consultant for one year (2008-2009) where she helped National Library Board (NLB) in streamlining their supply chain. Before, she worked as business consultant for two years (2005-2007) in Katalyst – a market development project in Bangladesh co-funded by SDC, DFID and Danida and implemented by Swisscontact and GTZ international service. During this project she had opportunity to work and help companies within several industrial sectors such as plastic, furniture, light engineering and agriculture machinery to improve their productivity through skill development.
