Frano is pursuing his PhD in Industrial Management as part of Erasmus Mundus Join Doctorate program between UPM, Spain, POLIMI, Italy and KTH, Sweden. In September 2012 he joined Department of Business Administration (Administración de impresas) at the ETSII school, UPM.
Frano finished Master in Electrical Engineering at Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture at University of Split, Croatia. Same year he started with postmaster specialisation in Business Economics, field Management at Faculty of Economics, University of Split. Thanks to Erasmus scholarship he had opportunity to study one semester at Faculty of Economics ''Richard Goodwin'' at University of Siena where he continued with Business studies. At the end of his studies in Siena, he was awarded Erasmus Mundus scholarship and he spent one year studying Master in Project Management at Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. In 2012 he was selected as PhD candidate for European Doctorate in Industrial Management and he joined Business Administration department at ETSII, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
Before moving abroad Frano worked as engineer and project manager in home automation. During his studies he actively participated in Cultural Association of Youth, organisation that is trying to educate young people and prevent them from drug and alcohol abuse.
