KTH hosted the 7th Scandinavian Conference on Industrial Engineering and Management

The conference theme - ” Back to the core, beyond the core ” - addressed the very nature of our field at the interface between technology and management.
Milan Jocevski, one of our EDIM candidates from the batch IV, won the Best PhD Paper Award during this year conference. Congratulations Milan!

Fadi Shrouf's paper awarded by Emerald Citations of Excellence

Emerald Publishing awarded the "Citation of Excellence 2017" to Shrouf F., Ordieres-Meré J., Garcia-Sanchez A., Ortega-Mier M. for the paper “Optimizing the production scheduling of a single machine to minimize total energy consumption costs” published in the Journal of Cleaner Production

The scientific article was recognised as one of the most highly cited and highly influential papers published in 2014 relating to the areas of Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics and Marketing.

ISPIM Innovation Management Dissertation Award

Andrés Ramírez was one of the three finalists of the ISPIM Innovation Management Dissertation Award 2017 with his doctorate thesis entitled "The unexpected implications of opening up innovation: a multi-perspective study of the role of Open Innovation practices in mature industries". The ISPIM Innovation Management Dissertation Award, sponsored by Innovation Leaders and Wiley, is an award given by the ISPIM community to Ph.D. researchers that have proven to develop the insights, theories, and tools to shape the future of innovation management thinking and action. The award was given during the ISPIM Conference in Vienna during June 2017 to the three finalists who were chosen by selected members of the ISPIM Scientific Panel amongst more than 90 submissions from all around the world.

 

IPMA BEST STUDENT PAPER PRIZE 2018

Roya Derakhshanalavijeh (EDIM Batch V) has received the 2018 Best Student Paper Prize for her paper “How Local Community Perceives Project Organization's Activities - A Step towards Psychological Aspects of Stakeholder Management" 

The IPMA PMI Paper Prizes honour the best paper and the best student paper of the Project Organising Track. These prizes are sponsored by the International Project Management Association and the Project Management Institute.
