Emrah Karakaya gets Eu-SPRI PhD Circulation Award

Eu-SPRI awarded Emrah Karakaya with a lump sum of 2.000 Euros for 3-month-visit to the Europe´s largest application-oriented research organization: Fraunhofer Society. The Award can be granted to doctoral researchers in their second year of PhD thesis (or beyond) and Emrah is one of the selected three PhD candidates in the 5th call. His research-visit takes place in the Competence Center Energiepolitik und, Energiemarkte, Fraunhofer Institute for System and Innovation Research (ISI) in Karlsruhe/Germany.

Travel grant from the "Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation”

EDIM22 webAndres Ramirez-Portilla candidate at KTH and POLIMI has recently been awarded a "Jubilee grant" for young researchers from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation to possibly attend the 6th ISPIM Innovation Symposium in Australia at the end of the year.
The Knut and Alice Wallenberg foundation is the largest financier of research in Sweden. During the past five years, the Foundation has granted the total of SEK 5 billion for various projects, mainly at Swedish Universities.
In KTH, this foundation supports, amongst many other projects, the "Jubilee" grant, which is a travel, grant that covers registration fee and the cost of travel (not accommodation) to attend conferences outside Sweden.
Demand for these scholarships is very large and the travel grants are given up to a maximum of SEK 15,000 (approximately 1,700 EUR).

The change management forum is a yearly event hosted by Implement, KTH and Swedish Learning Association.
The main objective is to increase knowledge about successful change management and to raise awareness of how important it is to have expertise in this area.
Change Management Awards are given to successful change projects and individuals who have made an outstanding contribution in change management or otherwise contributed to the development area. This year, Change Management Forum 2013 was conducted May 27 to 28 and collected a total of 196 participants.
EDIM Phd candidates at KTH were actively involoved in helping the jury to select the best change leader and change project of the year 2013.
The candidates interview over 10 change projects in Sweden and compiled a report.
